We are updating our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

Dear user, We're updating Issuu's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service (which now incorporate both the previous Terms of Service for Users and Terms of Service for Professionals). ("Bending Spoons"), the Italian parent company of Issuu, Inc., will become the data controller. This means that Bending Spoons will process your personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy. This change will have no impact on your use of the Issuu Service and on the level of protection of your personal data. Terms of Service and Data Protection Agreement We're updating our Terms of Service (which now incorporate both the previous Terms of Service for Users and Terms of Service for Professionals) to make them easier to understand, address updates to our product, and regulate how disputes are resolved between us. We have also updated our Data Protection Agreement, that will apply to you when you publish content on Issuu. Updated inactivity and storage policy We're also updating our inactivity and storage policy to be clearer. We'll retain the Content (including flipbooks) for 12 months from the starting date of your inactivity, after which the Content may be subject to deletion. Since you are an inactive user, if you wish to keep your Content on Issuu, please access your Issuu account within 15 days of receiving this email. An account is considered inactive if there has been no interaction with Issuu for 1 year. In addition to this email, you'll receive a notification in your Issuu account regarding these changes. By tapping "Accept and Acknowledge" in the platform or by continuing to use Issuu past April 12th, 2025, you accept the updated legal terms. If you don't agree to the updated legal terms, you'll need to stop using Issuu and delete your account before April 12th, 2025. If you wish to receive all Issuu's offers and commercial communications, be sure to check the relative box in the banner notification in your account.
